Women's Caucus

  • Assist the Pennsylvania Democratic State Committee in developing strategies
    for including women in all Democratic Party affairs

  • Monitor and advocate the Democratic Party's progress toward implementing its
    stated commitment to representational participation in the formation of policy
    and the conduct of Party affairs without prejudice on the basis of gender

  • Recommend means by which national, state, and local Democratic Party
    organizations can develop effective affirmative action programs with specific
    goals and time-tables for achieving results

  • Promote policies beneficial to women

  • Establish networks for the development of women's grassroots support for the
    Democratic Party

  • Channel resources to aid in the achievement of the aforementioned objectives

brought to the Women's Caucus meeting OR mailed to
Joanne Tosti-Vasey in advance.

The Women's Caucus provides childcare services
during the weekend of State Committee.  For
additional information, contact Joanne Tosti-Vasey
of the Women's Caucus at (814)355-3056.  
Parents are requested to bring refreshments, toys,
games and/or books for their children.
